Hi there, Emily.
Welcome to planDisney! See that line where the sky meets
Cinderella Castle? It calls me, and it sounds like it's calling you too. Before long, you'll be answering that call when you're immersed in the magic of the
50th Anniversary Celebration at
The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is an excellent choice of accommodation for your stay. My husband and I have stayed there a few times and loved every minute of it. The picturesque grounds and lake at its center will take your breath away, and the Cast Members are so friendly and helpful. You have to make your way up to the
Dahlia Lounge in Gran Destino Tower to see the incredible view and have a drink or two!
Emily, you will find out the exact location of your Resort room when you check in for your reservation. The Cast Member at the Front Desk should present you with a paper map of the Resort with the location of your room circled. They will also give you directions on how to get to your room. I suggest you also ask for information on which bus stop is closest to you while you are there since there are multiple bus stops on site. I know you wish you could find out your exact room now, but perhaps you can familiarize yourself with the general layout of your Resort for the time being instead. This would give you a leg-up on navigating the grounds once you do get your room number. You can find a map of Disney's Coronado Springs Resort on the right side of the Resort's overview webpage. Click on the magnifying glass to get a closer view at everything your Resort has to offer.
Make plans to check out the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival on your trip. This annual event has delicious treats and eats to sample, a butterfly house, gardens galore, topiaries of Disney characters, and more. You won't want to miss it!
We hope to see you around
planDisney again one day. Until then, remember there's a great, big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day!
Happy planning,
Alyssa
