    Hi. we booked 2 reservation for our disney world vacation for Oct 2022.. one grp received a welcome packet & reservation confirmation letter via snail mail. how come the other group did not receive anything? Thanks

    Joann, I'm so excited to hear that you've made plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort this October. You'll be able to enjoy everything that the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has to offer, from the global marketplaces to the live entertainment offerings. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is also in full swing, so don't forget to pack your spooky best if you plan on purchasing tickets to this event!

    As much as I love visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth, I love it even more when I get to visit with people I care about. It sounds like you're in for an extra special trip! But oh, bother - I'm sorry to hear that one of your groups received a welcome packet and the other did not. While I'm not exactly sure why this happened, I have a few ideas and next steps for you:

    • Depending on how recently you booked your trip, your information may still be on its way. If you feel a bit like Anna and you're watching the hours tick by (tick, tock, tick, tock!) I would keep an eye out for additional information headed your way. When booking my vacations to Walt Disney World Resort, there are some trips where I receive more information in my mailbox and sometimes when I don't. This is most likely determined by a number of factors, such as how close to my travel dates I booked as well as Disney's sustainability efforts to reduce paper consumption. 
    • To look at the details about your magical vacation, head over to your My Disney Experience account! Log in online, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, and click My Plans. Here, you'll be able to see your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, theme park reservations made with the Disney Park Pass system, and any advance dining reservations you may have made. This is a great way to keep the excitement going as you count down the days until your magical vacation!
    • If you've done the above steps and would still like to speak with someone about these travel documents, you can reach out to a Cast Member either by calling or by connecting through the Chat feature in your My Disney Experience app. Be sure to have your reservation number handy so a Cast Member can locate your information quickly!
    • To keep the excitement about your trip going while waiting for October, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and listen to the planDisney Podcast for incredible tips and exciting news!
