    We just booked a reservation for the Backyard BBQ. However, next to the listed time it stated "no characters". Does this mean there are no characters present for the entire show?

    There is something wonky going on with the Disney website. Many people have reported similar experiences. No worries - there are definitely characters present at Mickey's Backyard BBQ. (I mean, whow could it be Mickey's BBQ if he wasn't there?) You'll definitely have lots of character interaction at this event.
