Hiya Nicole,
Thanks for stopping back at planDisney. Oh boy! The only thing better than a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation, is a visit during the holiday season. The hotels and theme parks are overflowing with the most amazing decorations, events, entertainment, and character interactions. And, do not even get me started on the delicious holiday beverages and treats.
Be sure to check out
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This special event takes place at
Magic Kingdom on select evenings from early November until late December. You will be able to enjoy many of your favorite attractions (usually with shorter lines) as well as special holiday entertainment, parade and fireworks. I happen to know Santa himself makes an appearance and there is even snow on Main Street. This is one of our family's absolute favorite things at Walt Disney World!
We recently stayed at
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort and the busy bees are hard at work. I cannot wait to see the refurbished areas and know our sports loving family will have even more reasons to stay here. While specific room requests are never guaranteed, I can assure you that the Cast Members do a great job of managing reservations and availability for preferred room selections. You would not have been able to book the preferred room option if they did not expect rooms to be available during your visit. However, in the rare event Stitch gets a little rambunctious and disrupts the refurbishment, the Resort Cast Member will help you find the best available option during check in and will adjust your nightly rate if a preferred room is not available.
Don't forget to save a little time to visit the amazing gingerbread house at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. It is breathtaking and perfect for some holiday family photos. Plus you can buy some of the delicious gingerbread treats - they make perfect stocking stuffers. I hope you have a magical time and if you have any additional questions, please
stop back and see me.
Hope to see ya real soon,
Margaret
