I booked a preferred room at POP, but when my request options pop up on the check in page, it only offers the 70s or 80s buildings - what about the 60s? I was hoping to stay in the Jungle book section facing the lake, would this not be preferred location?

It’s groovy you stopped by planDisney with your question, Jen!

I bet you’ll find staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort to be outta sight! I just love the bright and colorful theming of the resort. With the Disney Skyliner access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it’s a righteous choice to stay at this awesome Disney Resort hotel!

Jen, the 60’s section of Disney’s Pop Century Resort does have rooms in the preferred room category. However, because you’re not seeing it as an online check-in option, I recommend calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and having a friendly Cast Member add it as a request on your reservation. Please do keep in mind that this is not a guarantee and is subject to availability, but Cast Members do their very best to accommodate Guest requests.

You’ll love staying at a Disney Resort hotel, as nothing beats being immersed in the magic. From legendary storytelling to enjoying Early Theme Park Entry, you will surely have a magical time!

Wishing you an enchanting visit, Jen!
