Ahoy there, Cynthia!
I'm so glad you sailed by planDisney! I love combining my two favorite things––Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Cruise Line! You are going to have an amazing vacation!
Cynthia, I recently had this same question, so I'm happy to help you get things sorted out by sharing what worked for me. You have two options:
- Call Disney Cruise Line and speak with a Reservation Specialist Cast Member. They can provide you with your Walt Disney World Resort confirmation number so you can link that reservation to your My Disney Experience app.
- You can also use Live Chat on the website. The Cast Member will ask you to complete a quick secure Guest information form and then provide you with the Walt Disney World confirmation number. The Live Chat button should pop up on the right side of your computer screen. If it doesn't pop up on the home screen, click Help Center under the Help tab and it should pop up for you. This option isn't always available, so you may need to call.
If you recently booked your pre-cruise hotel stay, the confirmation number can take several days to be available. The helpful Cast Member will let you know if that is the case.
Now, when purchasing your
Theme Park Tickets, be sure to link those to your My Disney Experience app so you have a seamless entry into the parks. Keep in mind that you can purchase your tickets before linking your hotel reservation if the confirmation number is not yet available.
Speaking of helpful apps, don't forget the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app! Everything you need to know about your cruise, from
Port Adventures and onboard activities to
Rotational Dining and evening entertainment schedules, plus onboard chatting with your family while on board is available in the app.
I hope this gets you on your way to a memorable Land and Sea vacation. Let us know if you have other questions; we are thrilled to help our fellow Guests!
Wishing you many magical moments,
Shannon
