Welcome aboard, Sally! You didn't mention which ship or itinerary you'll be enjoying, but I'm taking a guess that since you're from England, that you'll be on one of the European sailings on the Disney Magic! I loved my European adventures on the Magic, especially the magical Port Adventures, and cannot wait to book another cruise overseas to explore even more exciting ports of call while enjoying the entertainment and relaxation onboard the Magic!
Typically the All Aboard times are not later than 6:30, so perhaps you are referring to that, which means all guests must be onboard by then. However, if you do have a later All Aboard time in one port, and if your Port Adventure doesn't return to the cruise port until 6:30, you may miss the first of the nightly shows in the Walt Disney Theatre, or could be walking onto the ship just as they begin. However, the good news is that typically on the longer European sailings, the ship's signature big Broadway-style Disney productions like
Tangled: The Musical, tend to be on sea days, so that guests won't miss them due to later Port Adventures. Those port days tend to have variety acts performing in the Walt Disney Theatre, so while you may miss one, you won't miss out on the amazing theatrical performances that Disney has on the Magic. Now, on the seven-night sailings, some of the Disney shows do fall on port days but typically ones with earlier All Aboard times. All of this is subject to change, but check your daily Personal Navigator or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once onboard for details and specifics.
I hope that helps as you get ready to set sail on this amazing adventure, Sally! Have such fun as you continue planning, and please stop back with any other questions you might have before you head out to sea! We're happy to help!
