Hi, Deana!
Early congratulations on your upcoming marriage! How wonderful that you'll be spending your honeymoon at Walt Disney World Resort! I'm so excited for you both to experience the Wild Africa Trek -- I personally think it's one of the best tours that Disney offers.
My Disney Experience is a great tool for managing all your Walt Disney World vacation details. The reason you're not seeing the tour show up in your My Disney Experience account is that only resort hotel, tickets & passes and dining reservations can currently be linked to the account. At the moment Guests are unable to link tours and other reserved activities, but this capability will be coming soon!
When you made your reservations for the
Wild Africa Trek, the Disney Cast Member will have saved your information in the Disney reservations system. When you arrive for your trek, you will just need to give the Cast Member Trek Guides your names and show ID. The check-in area for the Wild Africa Trek used to be on the side of Tusker House Restaurant, but has since moved and is now located adjacent to the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction just north of Harambe Village in the Africa section of Animal Kingdom Park. At the main entrance to the park, there will be Cast Members stationed at the gate who will be directing Guests with breakfast and tour reservations to a designated turnstile for early entry. If your Trek begins at 8:00 AM, you'll want to arrive at the main gate by 7:45 AM to allow at least 10 minutes to walk from the entrance up to Kilimanjaro Safaris.
Enjoy the amazing close-up views of the hippos, crocodiles and other native African wildlife on your trek adventure! Come visit us again with any questions as you continue planning your magical honeymoon!
