Last minute changes are never fun to deal with, especially if it means a friend or a loved one can’t make it on a magical adventure.
Emily, according to the
Walt Disney World Resort Terms and Conditions, changes to a reservation, including length of stay or party size are subject to availability and the prices applicable at the time the change is requested. The Guest is responsible for paying any increase in price resulting from the change, in addition, changes made 30 days or less to your arrival date are subject to a change fee of $50 per package plus any change fees assessed by third party hotels or other suppliers.
Emily, it looks like your arrival date is inside that 30-day window, so you could be subject to that change fee at this point. Since you are decreasing your party size and you have a ticket package included, I would recommend calling the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservation phone line to talk with a friendly Cast Member to talk through your situation to check out all your options. I would suggest doing that as soon as possible, so you don’t get any closer to your arrival date without a resolution to your situation.
