I booked for Oct.'16, hoping for MNSSHP and Free Dining. If I had to choose between party or changing dates for Free Dining, which is worth it? Not interested in MVMCP though.

    Hi Kayla,

What a great way to spend October 2016! Walt Disney World in October is my favorite month to enjoy this special place.

The dates for Free Dining have been announced. The only dates that align with Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party would be in September. You can call and see if there is availability prior to changing your plan.

As for Free Dining, it really is a personal choice. My family can not eat all the food that is offered. We only take the basic which is one counter service, one table service and a snack. We usually split lunches or skip appetizers most nights at dinner. However, if you have children under 9, big eaters or you want to know your budget for food is covered, this is a great option.

As for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, we love it. It is the only parade we catch because of the unique beginning. We also love to hang out at our resort or fly in this day for our vacation. We head to the party at 4:00 pm and spend the rest of the day enjoying the candy and special Halloween magic!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
