We are booked for a 3 nt cruise on dream in room 7008. the deck show this room to be the same size as the cat 8 rooms, eventhough it is a cat 9 room. Do you have any insight on this room? Is it a good location? It will be 4 of us in the room 3yrB/5yrG.

    Ahoy Tiffany!
The majestic Disney Dream awaits your crew a month from today!  I know your prince and princess are counting down the days until it is their turn to enjoy all the fun and excitement of Disney at sea!  I checked out the deck plan for the Dream and your stateroom does appear to be similar in size to the Category 8 Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms.  The difference in the two is about 40 square feet so either option is very accommodating to your family of four!  The staterooms on Disney Cruise Line are very spacious with plenty of storage options, and your family will love the large window.  Since you will be at the end of the hallway you will enjoy a quiet location which is convenient to the forward staircase.  Deck Seven is always one of my favorite spots because you are in the middle of all the action.  The youth programming is just two levels down, and the pool deck is a few levels up!  You also aren't too far from the Walt Disney Theatre, shopping and the dining venues!  There are lots of maps available around the ship, and you will receive a paper map upon boarding so be sure to pay attention to these handy resources as you navigate your way around!
Thank you for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question, Tiffany!  If you think of anything else, please write back!
    Have a magical day!
