Welcome aboard, Jennifer! Next spring is going to be a great time to set sail with your family for an adventure onboard the
Disney Fantasy in the Western Caribbean!
Yes! All of your meals are included in the cost of your cruise. No matter if you're at sea or in port, there will be restaurants open, as well as quick service spots by the pool, and 24-hour complimentary room service, so you certainly will not go hungry! Your Personal Navigator onboard each day will list the hours and locations of the onboard dining, so you can check that before you head out into port.
If you're looking to make the most of your cruise money, you can certainly plan to head out to explore the ports of call and pop back to the ship for lunch, then head out again! You may want to budget at least one meal in one of the ports of call, as it really is a lot of fun to try the local foods and snacks. Plus, that will allow you more time to stay in the port exploring. Some of Disney Cruise Line's Port Adventures include lunch as part of the adventure, so if you've booked one, check out the details to see if lunch is included.
One of your ports, Grand Cayman, does require tendering, which means she ship will anchor out in the bay, and you'll take smaller tender boats to get to the shore. Since that takes some time to go back and forth, you may want to have lunch in Grand Cayman, so you can make the most of your day there. If you're an adventurous eater and would like a recommendation, I loved the conch burger in Grand Cayman! Even better, it was one of the options for lunch included in on our
Port Adventure at Boatswain's Marine Adventure Park, which I highly recommend!
Have fun planning, Jennifer!
