    We booked 7 night cruise on the Fantasy in Jan at full price. We heard they sometimes offer military discounts, but were told to go ahead and book and then if a discount became available, we could take advantage of it. Has anyone successfully done this?

    Welcome aboard, Delisa! I'm so happy to hear that you will be setting sail on the gorgeous Disney Fantasy! My family enjoyed every single moment that we spent onboard the Fantasy, and I'm sure yours will too!

    You are correct that sometimes special promotional offers will pop up for particular sail dates. If you see that one of these offers comes up for your sail date, give Disney Cruise Line a call and they can certainly help you try to take advantage of that offer, even with your existing reservation.

    Last year, my family was booked on a seven-night Wonder cruise. Later, this particular cruise became eligible for a Kids Sail Free Promotion. We were able to work with our travel agent to switch our reservation to this promotion. We did have to switch our stateroom to do this, but that was due to category limits, and really didn't effect us either way. We still had an amazing cruise, on the same ship and same dates we'd already planned, but suddenly our kids were free! Talk about magical!!! While I cannot guarantee that this will always be the case, it's certainly worth a phone call if you do find a promotion for your sailing after you've already booked.
