Hi! I have booked a 4 night cruise to the Bahamas on the Disney Wonder for March. Since this is our first time sailing with Disney Cruise Line, will lunch be available on sail away day or should we plan on eating before we board?

    Ahoy Rebecca!
It is wonderful to hear from you again!  When my family boards the ship, the first item to check off our "to do" list is to enjoy a delicious lunch onboard! We like to eat at either Parrot Cay (Deck Three) or the casual dining buffet which is Beach Blanket Buffet (Deck Nine) on the Wonder.  When you board the ship, you will already be on Deck Three so you can either head aft (to the left)  to Parrot Cay or hop on the midship elevator up to the pool deck which is the same level as Beach Blanket Buffet.  Both will offer a buffet lunch, but if you want to have some spectacular views of Miami while you dine, Deck Nine is your best option!
Also, you may want to pack your swimsuits and sunscreen in your carry-on bag in case you want to go for a swim after lunch!  Staterooms are ready at 1:30, and luggage will be delivered throughout the day so it is nice to have them handy just in case you are ready for some splashtacular fun!
Thanks again for stopping by, Rebecca!  It is a pleasure assisting you with all your cruise plans!
    Have a magical day!
