Hi Alex,
I'm sure your family will have a magical time on a Disney ship because it is a vacation for ALL ages! On my first Disney Cruise, my son was 18 months old, and he had an absolute blast. Watching him interact with the characters for the first time was unforgettable. He especially loved Donald and the pictures I have are priceless. Just watching him toddle around the ship was so much fun!
On seven-night sailings, you will have the opportunity to attend a Character Breakfast on one your days at sea. This fun-filled breakfast takes place in one of the dining rooms, and it is a great opportunity for your little one to visit with some of your favorite Disney characters.
The Fantasy has
Nemo's Reef, a splashtacular water play area, for the younger sailors. It is a 1,500 sq ft. area and is completely shaded. My son spent hours here on our Dream Cruise!
Even though your little one isn't old enough for the
Oceaneer Club, you can still enjoy time there as a family. Just let the youth counselors know when you arrive, and they will print out a name tag for you.
In your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, you will also find a "Little Ones" and "Fun for all Ages" row. Check this daily for activities you might want to enjoy as a family.
I hope my answer helps ease your concerns. Please let me know if I can assist you further.
Have a wonderful day!
Nancy
