We have booked a New Years Cruise on the Dream. What kind of special things will be happening that we can enjoy on the boat itself? Wondering how to plan. So excited!!! Will their be a DVC party?

    Ahoy Donna!
Ringing in the New Year on the high seas will be a wonderful way to kick off 2014!  Disney Cruise Line has lots of magic, wonder, and pixie dust in store for holiday cruisers like you this season!  The ship will still be shimmering from stem to stern with stunning holiday decor!  Castaway Cay will also be decked out with island themed decorations including "snow flurries" and festive holiday tunes!  On New Year's Eve, the ship will celebrate by offering commemorative flutes to enjoy your sparkling wine, lively music and a balloon drop at midnight!  I'm sure the cruise staff and the youth clubs will offer New Year's crafts so be sure to check your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter for all the festive fun planned!
A DVC reception is usually held on the afternoon of embarkation day so be sure to check your cruise newsletter upon boarding so you don't miss it!
Wishing you a magical voyage, Donna!  Please write back if you think of anything else!
