Hi, Shanna! What you'll actually receive in the mail may vary. For example, my family has twice received the Magic Bands for vacations. The bands themselves had no information with them, however with one vacation, we received a separate package that did contain a little booklet, along with a flash drive to watch a couple of videos on the computer.
You can request customized maps, where are actually pretty fun to have. If you visit
Walt Disney World Customized Maps, you can add things to your map that highlight specific attractions for each theme park. Another thing you might do is snag one of the vacation planning DVDs. The DVD is often accompanied by some additional reading material that you might give to the kids on their long ride. You can order your DVD by clicking
Disney Vacation Planning DVD.
You might also want to pick up a book my kids love to browse before vacation. It's Hidden Mickeys by Hidden Mickey Guy Steve Barrett. The book shows them where to find these secret gems planted by Disney Imagineers throughout the theme parks.
We also print out coloring pages that you can find online. You can also do a search for Disney themed word puzzles and games.
Have a wonderful upcoming vacation!
