Hi Elicia,
Welcome aboard planDisney! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line holiday. We want to help you have the most magical cruise possible!
I have good news for you! I checked with a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member who offered helpful insight. Solo cruisers pay the same package price as two Guests staying in the same stateroom. So, as long as there is capacity availability on the cruise (which is different than individual stateroom capacity) you will be able to add your carer to your reservation in your stateroom for the total price you are currently paying. If you booked your cruise through a travel agent, you will need to contact the travel agent to add your carer. If you booked directly through Disney Cruise Line, you should
call and speak with a Cast Member who will gladly assist you. I encourage you to inquire about adding your carer to your reservation as soon as possible.
Elicia, Disney Cruise Line offers a variety of accommodations and services to help Guests with medical conditions and disabilities have a practically perfect experience. If you have any questions about your cruise experience, contact
Disney Cruise Line Special Services by phone or
email. Also, you might find this
Information for Guests with Disabilities or Medical Conditions guide helpful. Finally, you can complete and submit a Request for
Special Services form on the website or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
You will feel right at home on the
Disney Wonder, one of my favorite ships! I can’t wait for you to experience Tiana’s Place. The entertainment is festive, and the food is delightfully delicious! Be sure to save room and try all the desserts! Seriously, order all of them.
I hope this information is helpful to you, Elicia, and that you have smooth sailing on your holiday. Please let us know if you have other questions as you plan.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
