Hi Sébastien, and welcome to planDisney. I hope that you’re having an amazing vacation! It sounds like you might have already enjoyed your magical view of Happily Ever After last week, but I’ll be happy to answer your question in case it’s still helpful.
My family has done the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties for a few special occasions and it’s such a fun and stress-free way to watch the nighttime spectaculars! With the
Post-Party, you’ll check in starting 60 minutes before
Happily Ever After and a Cast Member will bring you to the Plaza Garden reserved viewing area. After the fireworks, you’ll head to
Tomorrowland Terrace to enjoy a spread of desserts, cheeses, and beverages, including a variety of beer and wine for guests over 21 years of age (remember to bring a
valid form of identification). There’s generally no limit to the food and drinks you can partake in during the party.
So while you can’t access the party before Happily Ever After, Post-Party guests do get first dibs on the viewing spots in the Plaza Garden. This space is shared by both
Pre-Party and
Post-Party guests, but the Pre-Party guests will be enjoying their party treats before going over to the viewing area shortly before the show. I also love the Post-Party because it’s such a relaxing way to end the night while many other guests are rushing to exit the park after the fireworks are over.
If you love fun cocktails and unique beer and wine, I’d recommend checking out
Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom. It’s also a great midday break! Other favorite bars and lounges of mine include
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at the Polynesian Resort,
BaseLine Tap House at Hollywood Studios, and
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs.
I’m wishing you a wonderful rest of your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
