Hey Sowjanya,
Welcome back to planDisney! I'm glad you're here with this thoughtful planning question as you look ahead to your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit. If there’s any place on this planet that I typically find myself wishing I could be in multiple places at once, it’s Disney World. There’s just so much to do and see and not enough time for it all. I’ve been where you are, so my answer will be from the archives of “What Would Sakinah Do?”
Here’s the thing, Sowjanya: you’re going to have to make a choice based on what’s most important to you. For me, popular attractions are usually more important than
dining experiences (because you can often just get another dining reservation in most cases!) except when characters are involved or when it's a hard-to-get reservation. You are definitely in the middle of a real conundrum because
Hollywood & Vine’s seasonal dining parties feature Minnie Mouse and friends which is sure to be a good time. During your visit, Minnie will be hosting her Springtime Dine party where she and her pals will be wearing their most stylish spring fashions.
I wouldn’t want to miss this experience and neither would my kids, so I would definitely prioritize the dining reservation. Remember that plans change - there might be someone with later or earlier dining reservations or
Lightning Lane passes for
Slinky Dog Dash who may need to alter or cancel their plans. Use the
My Disney Experience app to review available reservations for both experiences and modify your time if you’re able to. I’d start looking as early as a few days before the reservations and I’d check frequently on the day of as this is usually when last minute changes creep up for guests. Checking early and often will definitely help your chances.
I hope this all works out for you, Sowjanya. My sincere hope is that you’ll get to have both experiences and won’t miss a thing. Good luck, and let us know if you need any additional help with planning your magical vacation! Hoping we’ll see ya real soon!
