Hello! So we booked lightning lane attractions and modified the party to remove some of the kids from some of the rides. How can I add attractions to the lightning lane for those removed?

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Kristina! It's great to see you again. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation begins soon, so I'm wishing on a star for safe travels and magical memories ahead.

Walt Disney designed his theme parks as places where all ages could play together, so let's look at how the kiddos in your party can enjoy the attractions that are just their speed.

It sounds like you've purchased Lightning Lane Multi Passes for your group and selected your initial three attractions. As you probably found out, the system requires that all members of the party have the same attractions; however, after the purchase is complete, you can modify each guest's attractions.

I chatted with a helpful Cast Member who said that once you remove guests from an attraction, you should see an option to book a new attraction on the Lightning Lane Passes tile on the Welcome Screen of your mobile app. You'll be prompted to select eligible guests from a dropdown menu, and then choose kid-friendly attractions for your young princes and princesses.

Another option is to call the App and MagicBand Support line for assistance. They can quickly see availability and times to help match the new attractions to your existing return windows. They're pros at this! My tip is to have a list of your desired rides and guest names handy when you call.

I'm not sure how old your kiddos are, but Rider Switch is a fantastic way to ensure everyone has a chance to experience the attractions. You can check out the details and decide if it will work for your party.

Before I let you go, I wanted to share a couple of tips for using your Lightning Lane Multi Pass throughout the day. First, be sure to select a new attraction as soon as you scan in for your current one. I usually scan my MagicBand at the Lightning Lane entry and step to the side of the queue to book a new attraction. Another tip is to keep checking if a ride you want is out of time slots. Guests modify their plans constantly, so when you refresh your screen, you might see the perfect time pop up.

Kristina, I hope I've helped you with your Lightning Lane booking. Have a wonderful time, and please stop by planDisney again.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
