    Just booked a last-minute trip for 2/1 - 2/5 at Polynesian. Went to make a few dining reservations, but restaurants were booked. What are chances to getting last minute "day of" reservation on off-peak week (Wed through Friday)?

    Hi Carrie,  How exciting that you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World!  It will be here before you know it!  Disney's Polynesian Resort is one of my favorite resorts on all of Disney property! I love the tropical theming and the beautiful landscaping this legendary resort has to offer!  I am sorry you have had a difficult time booking Advance Dining Reservations for your upcoming trip!  Advance Dining Reservations can be made 180 days prior to arrival so some of the more popular dining locations can tend to book up pretty quickly. I would suggest checking back by phone at (407)WDW-DINE or online at www.disneyworld.com periodically to see if anything opens up. Also, when you go online to check availability, rather than putting in a specific restaurant or dining location just enter your desired dates and times. This will give you a broader search of what is available on all Disney property. I do think you may get lucky with a last minute reservation especially during weekdays. Some guests make Advance Dining Reservations and then end up not making it to their reservation for one reason or another. Disney has put a cancellation policy into effect for some of their more popular dining locations. So, I would definitely check back 24-48 hours prior to your dates of interest.
