Hi, we booked a last minute WDW trip for the first week of Oct for my daughter's 3rd bday... We wanted to have a special bday dinner at MK but all of the character dining is booked up:( any other dining suggestions for a good bday celebration?

Thanks for writing Patricia! What a lucky princess you have, celebrating her special day at the Magic Kingdom! I can't tell from your question if you also tried character meals outside the Magic Kingdom. If not, you also might want to try 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian Resort, 'Ohana Character Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch in the Polynesian Resort and Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort. These are all a quick monorail ride from the park. Although not a character meal, the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge is so much fun for the whole family. You can hop on a boat from the Magic Kingdom and be there in 15 minutes.

You might also want to treat your princess to the royal treatment with a princess makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. There is one conveniently located in the Magic Kingdom, as well as at Downtown Disney. You might also want to look into a tea party at the Grand Floridian resort. Click here for information.

Be sure to pick up a Happy Birthday! button at your resort for your birthday girl to wear on her special day. Wishing you a magical vacation Patricia!
