MagicBand+ on Friends; Main Street; pairing

    I booked a very last minute vacation. We arrive on Sunday! Is there a way to get a MagicBand still?

    Hey there, Cassidy! Thanks for speeding by planDisney on your way to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I have been trying to squeeze in a trip for one last celebration of summer before my kids go back to school. Sadly, they start next week, so would you mind having extra fun for me?

    Planning a last-minute trip brings extra joy—having a wish and Bibbidi! Bobbidi! Boo!, it comes true. Pure magic! The only downside I can think of is not being able to order a MagicBand+ to be delivered to your home before you arrive. Orders for a MagicBand+ with the pre-arrival price have to be completed at least 11 days before your trip to be mailed to your home. Even the backup of having them shipped to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel requires ordering at least 6 days in advance.

    Hakuna Matata! You can find MagicBands throughout Walt Disney World Resort, including the theme parks, many of the resort gift shops and Disney Springs. At Magic Kingdom Park, the Emporium has a wide selection and it is right as you enter Main Street, U.S.A. At EPCOT, you can head to the Creations Shop, not too far from Spaceship Earth. In Disney's Hollywood Studios, they can be found at Mickey's of Hollywood. And in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Discovery Trading Company is the place to go. 

    Once you have your MagicBand+, it is easy to connect and unlock its power.

    1. Turn on the MagicBand+ with the small round button on the back
    2. Open the My Disney Experience app and go to the main menu (the "≡" at the bottom of the screen)
    3. Select "MagicBands & Cards"
    4. Follow the prompts under "Link Your MagicBand or Card"
