Hello. We booked a last minute trip to WDW with a meal plan for 4 days with our toddler. Very hard to get good ADR. Any restaurant suggestions other than character? Also, with a 3 day base ticket, what parks & how long would you suggest for the 3 days?

Hi Michael!  A last minute trip to Walt Disney World sounds fantastic! Disney Dining has plenty of delicious non-character options,  your whole family will enjoy.  Here are a list of some of my families favorites:

Boma-Flavors of Africa: Enjoy a buffet of exotic flavors, along with some American classics!  Be sure to save room for some zebra domes for dessert.

Coral Reef Restaurant:  Enjoy a meal, while watching over 4,00 sea creatures through panoramic windows.  They even give you souvenir Fish Guides to help you identify the sea life.

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant: A car hop escorts you to your very own automo-booth or picnic table,  as you enjoy a meal under the stars! Bring your appetite because you won't find just popcorn and candy at this theater. The Reuben  sandwich is my personal favorite!

Whispering Canyon Cafe: Found inside Disney's Wilderness Lodge, this old west eatery is not to be missed.  Your son will love the hobby horse races, and antics of the wait staff.   Just be sure to ask for ketchup!

As for what parks you should visit, I highly suggest a full day at Magic Kingdom.  This park will have the most attractions your whole family can experience together.   My young sons also love Animal Kingdom, we usually ride Kilimanjaro safaris at least three times!  I would suggest going to  Disney's Animal Kingdom in the morning, and Disney's Hollywood Studios that same afternoon.  Epcot is very large, but my personal favorite I would allow a whole day to experience it.

Wishing you a magical vacation filled with unforgettable memories!
