    Booked illuminations and Merry & bright dessert party through my Disney experience. I did not receive tickets for these in the mail, only a confirmation # by email. Was I supposed to receive a ticket or since it's linked to my magic band, I'm good? Th

    Hi Christi!

    It sounds like you are planning a very merry celebration in just a few months.   I hope you have the BEST TRIP EVER!    

    The Merry & Bright Dessert Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios sounds like so much fun.  I am just a tad bit jealous.  You will not receive tickets to this event.  You will need your confirmation number when you check in for the party.  The Cast Member may also ask to see your id when they check you in.   I always like to add my confirmation numbers for special events like dessert parties in the notes section of My Disney Experience.   By adding a note the confirmation is always just a touch away when I use my smart phone in the parks.   Please note that this confirmation is not automatically linked to your MagicBand. You may want to make the note of your confirmation number in your plans for the day, so that you have it available.
