I have booked my hotel from 29 dec to 1 Jan 2023 and already book park reservation which some of them already full. My question is if I extend my stay from 1 Jan to 2 Jan. Do I have to make a park reservation all of them again or just 1 more day?

Welcome to planDisney, Rattanon! Thank you for sending us your question!

I can't think of a better place to ring in the New Year than Walt Disney World Resort! Typically on December 31, every park but Animal Kingdom Park will be open until midnight. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for upcoming announcements on special entertainment and festivities; in the past, Magic Kingdom Park's Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks are performed on December 30 and 31 at 6:30 PM and 11:50 PM each night. Over at EPCOT, they usually have a showing of Harmonious early on New Year's Eve, and then the countdown fireworks begin shortly before 12:00 AM. Both parks get crowded but are fun places to celebrate.

I'm glad to see you've extended your trip an extra day! I chatted with a couple of Cast Members today, and both confirmed that you'll only need to make park reservations for your extra day. Many travelers start to head home on this day, so it's an excellent time to visit the parks. The Theme Park Availablity Calendar still shows that all parks have openings on January 1, 2023, but don't delay, as this date will likely fill up soon.

Rattanon, we hope your New Year's trip is a blast! See ya real soon!
