Booked Hoop De Doo-if use table service credits cannot sit in section 1. Is there a big difference between section 1 and 2? Will my chidren have less interaction with the actors if we are in 2? Unsure if we should pay out of pocket for section 1. Thanks!

    Hi Adrienne,

The Hoop Dee Doo Review is an old-fashioned meal with music, comedy and lots of laughter held at Disney's Fort Wilderness. There are 3 seating categories with varying prices:

    • Category 1 tables are on the ground floor and close to the stage.
    • Category 2 tables are either on the ground floor behind the category 1 tables or upstairs in the centre of the balcony.
    • Category 3 tables are upstairs on the sides of the balcony.

Only category 2 and 3 are available using the Disney Dining Plan at the 5pm and 7.15pm shows on a first come first served basis, Category 1 seating may be booked on the DDP at the 9.30pm show.

A few years ago I dined at the HDDR and I was on the DDP, we had category 3 seating upstairs and we found it to be a great view, the actors even came upstairs to interact with us too. So I think you will have a fantastic time sitting in category 2 especially if your family wouldn't be happy to get pulled up on stage, the actors really do interact with ALL tables where ever they are located. Saying that though you could end up seated upstairs, which although I think is great you may be disappointed with so if sitting downstairs is very important to you then yes I would advise you to pay out of pocket for the category 1 seating.

    Have a great trip,

    Jo
