I just booked the Holiday Sleigh Rides Enchanting Extra at Fort Wilderness for our December trip. The terms and conditions say all minors need a photo ID. Do I really need to acquire an ID or passport for my infant to be on the sleigh ride with us?!

    Hi Caitlin,

Welcome to planDisney! A Holiday Sleigh Ride seems like the perfect way to celebrate the season at Disney World. What a wonderful experience you have planned for your family. I just checked in with Guest Services, and they confirmed for me that only people 18+ will need to show ID and that all minors must be accompanied by an adult. We have done several of the Enchanting Extras experiences with our children and this has been the case for all of them.

I love the Enchanting Extras Collection because it is full of little and big ways to make your vacation at Disney World extra special. Since you will be there the week of Christmas and it will be busy, these experiences are also a way to find some calm, private ways for your family to connect over the holidays. If you are looking for any other special ways to celebrate, the fireworks cruises are one of our favorite experiences. These chartered cruises give you a private view of the evening fireworks from the lake on a boat equipped with snacks and drinks. It is so relaxing and magical! They will even decorate the boat for you if you are celebrating something special.

Since you are visiting during December, make sure to spend a day exploring the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. This event is a beautiful tour of how the holidays are celebrated all over the world, with Holiday Kitchens featuring unique seasonal food offerings, storytellers, and decorations galore. My favorite part of this event is that it culminates in the Candlelight Processional, a powerful retelling of the Christmas story with celebrity narrators, a 50-piece orchestra, and a choir!

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
