booked 9/2 -9/7/12, me, daughters:18,16,10 and granddaugh.first visit (4 yrs.) at PORiver. would it be worth me taking it down to 3 nights to stay in royal guest room, i would hve to get 2 rooms rather than one and that would be about the difference? help.

Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Barbie! We're glad you're hEAR! That's a tough question!  Although the Royal Guest Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort are absolutely beautiful, I would personally choose a longer vacation. I think you have made an excellent resort choice and will still enjoy all the amenities and Disney perks by staying in a regular guest room at this relaxing, rural Louisiana-themed Resort. I also was torn in making this decision thinking about 3 pre-teen and teenage girls sharing one bathroom as opposed to getting the second room. However, we are not usually in our rooms except for getting ready in the mornings and sleeping at night. By having the additional two nights, you will find that you are able to experience more of the Magic that Disney has to offer!  We do enjoy going to Disney for short weekends, but really enjoy our five night trips when we can really take our time to enjoy the parks without feeling so rushed. We find that our favorite Disney vacations are when we can enjoy the parks in the morning, go back to the Resort for those midday breaks and pool time, and then re-enter the parks in the evening to enjoy the parks when they really come alive at night!  With so much to do and see at Disney, I think you will really enjoy having a longer vacation. There are four main theme parks, two water parks, Downtown Disney, and two miniature golf courses at Disney!  I hope I have helped in making your decision. If you would like to write me a follow up question with your park plans, I could offer you additional suggestions and planning advice. Also, if you have any other questions concerning Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside please let me know. Best wishes for a Magical Trip!
    Happy Planning,
