We are booked at the Grand Floridian in the Sago Cay building in October. We have one room Magic Kingdom view. #2 room is water. I read that this could mean a slight view. How do I guarantee that we have a full view? We are paying top dollar for this view.

Hi there, Patricia! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your great question. We're happy you're here!

It sounds like you're excitedly anticipating your magical stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! My husband and I were lucky enough to stay at this resort and we had the most incredible time. We loved just walking the grounds at night, looking at everything lit up and beautiful, then ending the evening with a sweet treat from Gasparilla Island Grill. Patricia, I'm wishing upon a star that your upcoming visit is an extra special one!

When it comes to the room that you'll call "home" during your stay, I completely understand wanting to make sure it's as magical as you're hoping. Guests are able to book rooms with varying views when making their reservations and I know that each Guest is looking for an enchanting view when they pull back the curtains on their window. Patricia, you are welcome to make a request with a Cast Member for a particular view you're looking for and they will be happy to add a note to your reservation. You can either make this request by calling or through the Chat feature on your My Disney Experience app. Be sure to have your reservation number handy! Please know that nothing can be guaranteed, though the friendly Cast Members will always do what they can to accommodate each request. I feel confident that no matter where your room ends up being, you're going to have a lovely and magical experience!

Make sure that you take some time to familiarize yourself with the many resort benefits available to you, especially Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours! And don't forget to make your advance dining reservations, perhaps for Cítricos or Narcoossee's. Patricia, if you have any other questions, please visit us again!
