I just booked the Garden Grill and J have the quick service. I read you can use 2 quick credits for a sit down meal is that true?

Hello, Teresa! I hope you are having fun planning your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. If you are making dining reservations, you are very close to the magic.

I was excited when the dining plans returned to Walt Disney World. On a recent trip, I enjoyed the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, which fit my needs so well. This plan includes 2 quick-service meals per night of your stay, 1 snack or nonalcoholic beverage per night, and a resort-refillable mug for sodas, hot tea and coffee.

I am really sorry you found information somewhere that said you could exchange quick-service meals for table service. Table service meals are only available as part of the Disney Dining Plan, and you cannot trade in credits from one plan for another.

If you decide to keep your reservation for Garden Grill Restaurant, you'll enjoy one of my favorite character dining experiences. I love the visits by Chip 'n' Dale and their pals, like Mickey Mouse and Pluto. The restaurant is on a rotating platform with a taste of Living with the Land. And I rave about the green beans. I know it is not something most people write home about, but it is a true IYKYK. They are that good.

If you decide to stick with restaurants that accept your quick-serve credits, I found the Maple-Mustard Glazed Salmon at Columbia Harbour House and the Combination Bowl: Smoked Chimichurri-braised Beef and Wood-grilled Chicken at Satu'li Canteen to be tasty choices that maximize the value of the plan. Both of these restaurants have so many great options with the plan.

For snacks, if you like caramel or chocolate, head to Karamell-Küche. I was delighted to see so many sweet and delicious options here that are included as a snack. At Magic Kingdom Park, it's all about Sleepy Hollow. The funnel cake with strawberries and powdered sugar, complete with a view of Cinderella Castle, is Disney snacking magic!

I am really sorry this is not the answer you were hoping to hear. I do hope you come back to planDisney with any other questions about your Disney plans. We will try our best to get you the information you need to enjoy your vacation.

    Thinking of the Happiest Things!
