Hi - we have the dining plan and a 14 day ticket. Does the dining plan expire when we check out from the hotel? We would like to get a late breakfast/ early lunch after check out to keep us full while we travel home. Thanks

    Hi Helen!

Welcome back to planDisney!  Whether you have the Disney Dining Plan or the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, you'll love the convenience and flexibility that it has to offer!  With both of these plans, each guest will receive one snack or non-alcoholic beverage per night of your stay and a Resort-Refillable Mug good for the length of your stay.  The difference between the plans can be found in the meals available.  Guests with the Quick-Service plan will receive two Quick-Service meals per night of stay while guests on the Disney Dining Plan receive one Quick-Service and one Table-Service meal per night.

Helen, your dining plan is available beginning on your arrival day and expires at midnight on the night you check out, or until all meals and snacks have been redeemed.  That means that, as long as you have the meal remaining, you'll certainly be able to have a filling final meal on your dining plan before flying home.  I recommend a late-morning character breakfast on the day you depart - it will give you one final chance to say goodbye to some wonderful Disney friends before leaving!  Two of my favorite suggestions are Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort or 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  With both of these options, you can take transportation from your resort to Magic Kingdom Park and then board the monorail to your breakfast destination.

Don't forget that while you're at Walt Disney World Resort, you can easily view your remaining meals and snacks on the My Disney Experience Mobile App.  You can find this information by viewing "My Resort Stay" and then selecting "Check Dining Plan."  In addition, you can use your dining plan with Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering at Quick-Service locations in the app.  Mobile ordering is a great way to save time in the parks or to pick up a grab-and-go meal at your resort!

Helen, I hope this information is helpful as you prepare for your upcoming stay later this summer!  In the meantime, you're always welcome to be our guest here at planDisney and we hope to see you again real soon!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
