We booked the free dining promotion w/ 5-Day Park Hopper tickets. I have a friend who would like to join, but she has an annual pass. Can she stay in our room and use free dining? If she buys a ticket, can she renew her pass by paying the difference?

    Hey there, Rebecca!

That is so fantastic that you were able to take advantage of the Free Dining Plan special offer! It can be a tough reservation to get your hands on, so I'm always so excited to see when people were able to make their vacation plans work so it included this awesome offer.

As long as you have not reached the room maximum at your Walt Disney World resort hotel room, you can add another guest to your reservation. You will have to call Disney Resort Hotel Reservation at 407-939-1936 in order to add your friend to your room. Additional charges may apply.

In order to participate in the free dining promotion, your friend will have to purchase the minimum theme park tickets required to qualify - like a 4-day park hopper pass, if that's what your package requires. The good news is that as long as you go to guest services before you use the last day of that ticket, it can be upgraded to an annual pass, and the purchase price of the park hopper will be applied to the annual pass purchase. This has to be done in person.

Have an absolutely wonderful vacation, and enjoy as many amazing dining experiences as you can.
