    I have booked 4/26/13 - 4/28/13 at a Fort wilderness Cabin. I also have reservations for Chef Mickey at 7:20am. I want to pick up welcome package and go to Chef Mickey. Will there be transportation other than hiring a taxi? When do I need to start?

    Hi Karin! 

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Personally, my children and I love Chef Mickey's!  We get to enjoy a great buffet breakfast, complete with Mickey waffles, meeting Mickey and pals, and seeing the monorail pass by!
     
    I do have a special place in my heart for Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground.  Depending on when you are arriving at Fort Wilderness, your only option may be taxi service.  There is a boat launch that will take guests to the Contemporary Resort, Magic Kingdom, Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness.  The boat launch begins operation at 7:30 in the morning, or an hour prior to Extra Magic Hours, depending on which is earliest.  If you happen to arrive during an EMH day, you can take the boat launch to Contemporary Resort.  If not, you'll have to take a taxi over.
