booked our first trip to WDW my son is 11 and want to know what are some Must sees or to do? what attractions do you recommend I am not able to go on roller coasters or anything that spins and I’m not sure he will go on that stuff alone

    Hi Kristin!

One of the amazing things about the Walt Disney World Resort is that there are plenty of amazingly magical attractions for everyone, including people who enjoy more relaxed and less "thrilling" rides!  Each park has plenty of attractions that both you and your son will absolutely love, but I wanted to give you some of my favorites.

At Magic Kingdom Park, make sure to check out Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan's Flight, and Pirates of the Caribbean.  These are three of my favorites that I have to experience each time we visit Magic Kingdom Park!  Also, if you're looking for a thrill without twists and turns, you can always go on Splash Mountain!  At Epcot, I love The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Soarin', and Spaceship Earth!  All of these are exciting adventures that are interesting without being too intense.  At Disney's Animal Kingdom, don't miss Kali River Rapids, Kilimanjaro Safaris, or Na'vi River Journey.  These rides take you to new lands where you can experience creatures and habitats from around the world--or even around the universe!  At Disney's Hollywood Studios, if you are ok with 3D motion simulations, make sure to check out Star Tours - The Adventures Continue.  This is one of my husband's favorites!

Be sure to check out the full list of attractions if you would like more information on these or any of the other incredible attractions!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!

Hi y’all!  I am an Army wife, a college instructor, a dog-mom, and a lover of all things Disney!  Planning a Disney vacation is my favorite pastime—other than actually going on a Disney vacation, of course—and I love helping others make the most of their magical trip!  If I am not at the Walt Disney World Resort, I am putting the pixie-dusted touches on my next trip!
