I just booked our first trip to WDW, we arrive on Feb19/2013 and are staying 6 nights incl. dining plan and 5 day park pass. With twin boys who will be turning 6 in March, I would love suggestions on character dinners. I don't know where to begin! Thankyou

    Hi Christina,

There are just a handful of places that offer character dinners, two of which are princess themed. Knocking those out, you're left with Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary (Mickey and friends), Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom (Winnie the Pooh and friends), and Garden Grill at Epcot (Chip & Dale and friends). These are all great in their own way. I'd choose based on which characters your children like best or which park area you'll be in. If you're interested in a character breakfast, there are more options. Please write back and we'll be happy to help with those.

Other good choices for boys are the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge (cowboy themed), T-Rex Cafe at Downtown Disney (dinosaur themed), and the Sci-Fi Dine-In at Disney's Hollywood Studios (you sit in cars while you dine).

You may also want to head over to the independent website DisneyFoodBlog.com and look for an article called "Great Disney World Restaurants for Boys."

    Happy planning!
