Hi! Just booked first trip and unfortunatel missed the free dining deal by 2 days. We are checking in November 9 and it starts November 11. Did they exclude these dates last year? Any chance they will change it? I am so upset. we could have saved a lot

    Jen,

I get your disappointment, but let me tell you a few things to consider that may help you rethink that.

Free Dining is not always the best deal. While the free food sounds great, you will typically find that to get that deal you have to pay the full room rate. Your current reservation may be on a room-discount plan that saves you more money than the free dining would give you in free meals. So don't assume that you lost out.

New Dates are SOMETIMES added. Yes, in past years they have added new dates after the initial program came out. But you just can't count on it. Keep an eye peeled for it, but know that if it comes out it may still not be a better deal for you than what you already have. I would tell you that they will probably only add those dates if they find that they are not as full as they would like.

So my suggestion is keep an eye out, just in case they expand the dates. They have done it in the past, just don't rely on it happening. And don't let it get you down. You may not have saved a dime, in fact it may have saved you less money. It might have been a bit more sizzle than steak.

    Have a magical vacation!
