Tammy, I love being able to share in the excitement of your first Disney vacation! We're all about character dining and fun meal experiences, so not knowing what your plans are for that day, I'll give you a few park and resort suggestions.
Magic Kingdom -
Liberty Tree Tavern - since the Crystal Palace will be closed for refurbishment at this time, the Liberty Tree Tavern will have character dining, along with family-style yummy dining!
Epcot - The
Biergarten in Germany is my daughter's newest favourite spot. There's a delicious buffet with something for everyone, and dancing with the Oom papa band makes for a great dinner!
- If you'd prefer character dining, then allow Chip and Dale to be your hosts at the
Garden Grill in the Land pavillion.
Hollywood Studios -
'50s Prime Time Cafe has great food and fun, as you dine in a fifties kitchen with your cousins there to be sure all veggies are eaten!
- Your son might also enjoy the
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre, where you dine in cars while watching eci-fi movie clips. So fun!
Other ideas if you're not in a park: Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge and 'Ohana in the Polynesian both offer exciting experiences while dining. Our character dining favourite, Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort, has a fabulous buffet, with Mickey, Minnie and pals paying a visit.
Have a magical vacation Tammy!
