Hi there! We're booked on our first Disney cruise in December. Our daughter will be three in August, but I'm not sure if she will be toilet trained. Can we book her into the its a small world nursery? or can she be included in Oceaneer Club?

Ahoy there, Morgan! A warm welcome aboard planDisney...we're so glad you sailed by with this fantastic question!

It looks like you'll be setting sail on a Very Merrytime Cruise. How absolutely magical! I had the chance to experience my very first one last year, and I was completely blown away by all the festive fun packed into every moment. From the twinkling holiday decor to the special seasonal activities and character appearances in their adorable holiday outfits, it truly felt like sailing through a winter wonderland at sea!

I'm happy to share that "it's a small world" nursery is designed for the tiniest cruisers — those little Mouseketeers ages 6 months to 3 years old. Since your daughter will be 3 during your sailing, she's still within the age range to enjoy everything the nursery has to offer.

Reservations for the nursery are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can make them during the Youth Activities Open House during Embarkation Day, or at any point during your cruise by stopping by or checking availability through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. The nursery does come with an additional fee, and just so you know, there's a minimum reservation time of one hour.

Now, if your daughter is fully toilet-trained, that opens up even more possibilities! She'll be able to participate in the Oceaneer Club, which is packed with immersive themed spaces and activities designed just for kids. But don't worry if she's not quite toilet-trained yet — you can still bring her to explore the Oceaneer Club together during the scheduled Youth Activities Open House times. It's a fantastic way for little ones (and grown-ups) to check out all the fun and see what it's like.

I hope this information is helpful, Morgan. If any other questions pop up during your planning, please sail back to planDisney!

Wishing you a very merry voyage!
