We just booked the Fantasy sailing for 8/23/14 & were assigned 2nd dinner seating. Our kids will be 6 & 5 at that time. We are aware of Dine and Play, but are there areas in the Kid's Club where the kids can nap if they poop out before we pick them

Welcome aboard, Donna! What a great way to wrap up the summer with a magical week sailing aboard the Disney Fantasy!

My family goes back and forth each time we sail about which dining seating to choose, as we have had great experiences with both Main Dining and Second Seating. I think you will love having the second seating for dinner since it sounds like your kids will enjoy heading up to the Oceaneer's Club and Lab. About 45 minutes into dinner, the counselors from the club arrive at the front of each of the three main dining restaurants to pick up any children who are ready to go play, leaving the parents to enjoy the rest of their dinner at their own pace.

My kids love Dine and Play during second seating. My husband and I like to enjoy the rest of our dinner catching up with each other, then head off to some of the events on the ship. Most of the time we've come to pick the kids up pretty late from the club, they've been snuggled up on mats on the floor watching a movie. My son was nodding off as he watched the movie one night, and would not have been the only sleeping child on the mats that night! So, yes, your kiddos will have a wonderful time in the clubs after your late dinner and can lay down to rest and have some down time until you come pick them up. But, don't be surprised if you come back to find them still going strong! There is something about all the fun in the clubs that keeps my kids energized way past their regular bedtimes!

Have fun as you continue planning your cruise, Donna! I'd love to help with any other questions you might have, so don't hesitate to stop back here!
