    we have booked the fantasmic package for july 3rd. the show isnt until 9:00, the park closes at 8:30. Will the buses still pick us up and take us back to the resort or do I need to just drive from resort to park that day?

    Hi, Kelly! My family and I often drive in from Tennessee.  Whenever we have our own vehicle that is what we use to get to and from the theme parks, water parks, and the other Resorts.  Disney does an amazing job of moving all of the Guests around in a timely manner, but I like being in control. You don't have to wait for transport from your Resort, and at the end of a long day, the wait for a tram to the parking lots is often considerably less than the wait for Disney transportation.  Parking is free since you are staying on-site, so definitely take your own vehicle! The only exception to this rule is a temporary one.  Downtown Disney is currently undergoing a lot of construction, and parking is scarce.  For the time being, I would take Disney transportation there. Never fear, though, if you decide to take Disney transportation, there will be plenty of buses to get you (and all the other Guests) back to your Resort after Fantasmic! ends.
