I just booked our family's vacation for next summer at POR! I had read that some of the rooms had a Murphy bed to accommodate a fifth person in one room in the Alligator Bayou section. Are these rooms also in the Magnolia Bend section?

    Hello Brian,

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question today and HOORAY for booking your family's Walt Disney World vacation for next summer!  Now comes the fun of making your plans!

My family loves Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and we've stayed there many times.  As a party of 5, the rooms that have 2 queen beds, plus the pull-down bed, are perfect for us.  All of those rooms are located in Alligator Bayou and the theming in that section is charming - think of Louisiana's bayou region, with rustic buildings, tin roofs and tall pine trees and you'll have an idea of what to expect.  At this time, there are no rooms in the Magnolia Bend section with the pull-down bed for a fifth person.  If you have 5 people on your reservation, you'll automatically be assigned Alligator Bayou.  Otherwise, if you have a specific section or building request, you can call (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639) to have that added to your reservation.  While there are no guarantees, I'm sure the Cast Members will do their best for you.

Wishing you a most magical vacation, Brian!  Please write back with any other questions you have as you make your pixie-dusted plans.  We'd love to help!
