I have just booked a family vacation to Orlando Florida and are not staying on the resort as we are staying at a friend's house. Can character dinings at the resorts be booked if you are not staying at the resort.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sandra! I know you must be super excited about your upcoming vacation! I am happy to report that guests do not have to stay on property in order to book a meal or dine at one of the Character DIning Experiences at the Walt Disney World Resorts. In fact, my family has stayed off property several times in the past and still dined at one of the table-service restaurants that were located in a Walt Disney World Resort. You can book Advanced Dining Reservations for Character Dining Experiences 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or by going online here. I hope this information eases your mind. Please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Sandra!
    Happy Planning,
