Hi Richard,
I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be staying at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge! You'll truly feel immersed in a uniquely African setting, and with the spectacular artwork, gorgeous setting, captivating wildlife, and fun cultural experiences, you're going to LOVE it! I'd definitely encourage you to pick up a recreation calendar when you arrive and take part in as many experiences as you can.
If you'd like to guarantee two separate beds for your kiddos, you'll want to make sure that you've booked a Bunk Bed room, which will offer one queen bed and one bunk bed. There are
unique room categories for the pool view or savanna view rooms with a bunk bed, but if you've booked a standard room, you'll want to
contact Disney to place a room request to ask for a room with a bunk bed. Your other option would be to book a larger Club Level room that sleeps more than 4 adults or a 1 or 2 bedroom Deluxe Villa at either
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House or
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, as those rooms would offer enough sleeping spaces for your Mouseketeers to spread out a little more.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Richard, and please come back and see us again if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip. I hope that you and your family have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
