just booked family holiday for july 2012! i know its early moms, but any suggestions for lunch in mk? [have been 4 times before done cpalace and plaza ] 2 adults & 2 grown up children want out of midday sun!! not on dining plan

As you already know, it's most quick service dining in the Magic Kingdom. I do have a 'top 3' list for my family. And all are indoors and air-conditioned, which is almost as important as the food!

Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland is a nice lunch spot. They have three different 'bays' from which to order, and each has different offerings, so be sure to look at each window before getting in line. On our last visit, one had roasted chicken, BBQ ribs, a chicken & ribs combo, and grilled chicken sandwiches. The second had several different burgers and hot dogs, and the third had wraps, salads, and sandwiches like cheesesteak and pork BBQ.

If you'd like Italian food, the Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland has pasta, chicken parmesan, meatball subs, and a few other selections.

And my personal choice would be a bowl of clam chowder in Columbia Harbor House (Liberty Square). Seafood is the specialty here, so you'll also find shrimp and fish dishes on the menu - mostly fried.

The menu at Cosmic Ray's is the largest, so if you like a lot of choices, that would be your best bet.
