We are booked at the end of August with the free dining package. We now have another trip in the works for next summer and want to upgrade to annual pass. If we upgrade our tickets to annual pass will we lose the free dining plan on our current package?

    Dear Sam,

Thank you so much for visiting us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I am an Annual Passholder and I absolutely love taking advantage of all of the perks and benefits that come along with it!

That being said, you are correct that the free Disney Dining Plan offer that you are describing does not include Annual Passholders, so you would have to re-book your reservation as a room-only reservation, or as a reservation that included room plus (paid) Disney Dining Plan. This could still end up as an excellent deal for you, but I think that you should run the numbers of what next year's proposed trip would cost as well to be sure that you are getting the best deal.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
