Hello, Jessica!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks so much for bringing us your question about the
Disneyland Resort. It looks like you’re planning to visit during the 4th of July weekend. My family once spent a memorable Independence Day at the resort, and we had a great time saluting the stars and stripes with a special fireworks show set to patriotic music!
I bet you’re excited to stay at
The Villas at Disneyland Hotel.
The Disneyland Hotel is my favorite on-property hotel because of the beautiful decor and details that harken back to the early days of the resort. The Villas there take the magic a step further by incorporating artistic touches from classic films like
Sleeping Beauty and contemporary favorites like
Princess and the Frog!
In addition to the palette-shaped pool and the poolside bar that were added to the property when the new tower was built, don’t forget that you’ll also have access to the amenities at the Disneyland Hotel during your summertime stay. This includes the
E-Ticket Pool, where you can choose between two Monorail-themed water slides that are both replicas of the original Mark 1 Monorail trains that transported Guests between
Disneyland Park and the Disneyland Hotel in the 1960s!
Don’t worry, Jessica. Since you are not using
Disney Vacation Club Member Points or a Member Cash Discount to pay for your room, you can expect to receive full housekeeping service daily. If you need additional housekeeping amenities or have any specific requests, please don’t hesitate to visit the Front Desk once you arrive or contact Housekeeping via your in-room phone once you are settled in.
I hope this helps you plan, Jessica, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the Happiest Place on Earth this summer! Please
write back with any other questions you can dream of as your trip approaches.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
