I would like to make dinner reservations for Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar. But they are not accepting reservations at present. Any reason why? Thank You

Aloha, Annie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney.

Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar is an island oasis near the Disneyland Hotel, and I love that you want to visit. My favorite dishes are the Pork Gyoza and Panko-crusted Long Beans - give them a try! Annie, the restaurant is quite small and can only accommodate smaller parties inside with accommodations for larger parties in their outdoor dining area. All of the dining reservations may have already been reserved, as most Disneyland Resort dining locations start booking 60 days in advance. However, a Cast Member recently told me that reservations can be released anywhere between 1-60 days out, so you may want to check back regularly to see if any reservations have opened up. Hopefully, you will get lucky and grab one!

If you can't snag an advanced dining reservation - hakuna matata, not all hope is lost. Trader Sam's also offers a select number of walk-ups per day. Once you are near the restaurant, you can check the Disneyland Mobile App for the estimated wait time and add your name to the walk-up list. If you are staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels, it would also be easy to walk over and check the walk-up list in person with a friendly Cast Member. You might want to go for a late lunch or early dinner if trying for a walk-up table, as there are likely going to be longer wait times at more traditional meal times.

Annie, I will be crossing my fingers that you get to experience Trader Sam's. I also wish you fair winds and bright sunrises are you plan your vacation. Please come back and visit us again soon!

    Mahalo,
