Hello there, Karen! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I'm happy to help!
If you recently purchased your
park tickets on the Disneyland website, they should already be linked to your account. If so, you should be able to see them on your
Disneyland Mobile app by tapping the three stacked lines at the bottom right, then clicking on "Tickets and Passes." Also, try checking your inbox to see if you got a confirmation email. Since all multi-day tickets purchased this year don't expire until January 12, 2024, you shouldn't have any trouble using them.
If you bought your tickets from an authorized third-party ticket broker, you will need to manually link your tickets to your Disneyland account to access the park reservation system. Follow the steps outlined above, and click "Link Tickets and Passes." Then, you can make your
theme park reservations. You can also try using the Chat feature through the Disneyland Mobile app or the Disneyland website. The Cast Members will ask for permission to access your account, and then they can try to troubleshoot your situation.
As to your second question, park tickets can only be upgraded to a ticket of equal or greater value. According to the
eTicket Terms and Conditions, no credit or refunds will be given for the non-use of any portion of a theme park admission ticket's entitlements. I know this is probably not the news you were hoping to hear. However, Canadians can often get discounted deals on Disneyland Resort tickets. I encourage you to reach out to an authorized travel planner.
I hope this helps, Karen! Since we're already halfway to the holidays, Disneyland Resort has released details for their
Oogie Boogie Bash. Check it out if you want to have a Grim, Grinning Good Time during your trip this fall!
